About me

My Philosophy

I subscribe to the scientific-practitioner model of therapy while addressing issues related to the mind, body and spirit.  I primarily utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), therapeutic coaching, a didactic skill-based methodology and behavioral therapies. When requested, I integrate a spiritual and/or faith-based approach by utilizing a supportive and insight oriented approach.

My Story

Having lived in Metropolitan Atlanta since 1965, you could almost consider me a native of this city. I received my undergraduate and graduate degree from Georgia State University and have worked in community based and privately based counseling programs since 1977.

I currently live in Stone Mountain, Georgia with my husband.  My son lives with his beautiful wife in the Washington D.C. area. I enjoy hiking, playing music, singing and painting.
